Via meta-tags or meta-information you can add extra information to your website, which a normal visitor won’t see. These meta-tags are inserted into the HEAD-part of the website.

You can add a description via these meta-tags, which will be displayed when people find your website via a search-engine. You can also add keywords, which will help to find your website via such a search-engine.

A standard HEAD tag comprises the following:

   <TITLE>The title of your website</TITLE>

Via these meta-tags the HEAD-section can be expanded with the description and keywords-tag. Because this information is displayed in the HEAD-section, it is hidden from the normal visitor, but a search-engine will store this information.

   <TITLE>The title of the website</TITLE>
   <META NAME="description" CONTENT="A short description of the website">
   <META NAME="keywords" CONTENT="Website, HTML, PHP, Code">

In the 2nd line (description) you can add a useful description for your website. In the 3rd line (keywords), you can specify extra keywords which can help people to finding your site.

If you use URL-forwarding, via the Nucleus Controlpanel, you can also add a description/keyword-tag. You can do this in the overview of the domain. From there on, you can click on “URLForwarding”, followed by “Add”.

Via a similar matter as HTML-tags, you can add keywords and descriptions for your website.

In the inputfield next to “No frames”, you can specify a text to be displayed when a users browser does not support frames. If you check the option “cloaking”, the website will be displayed within a frame, to keep the URL the same.
